Why I have this book: It must have come up on a "recommended for you" list somewhere, and because I'm a huge Barbara fan, I bought it on Kindle. Note: It's not actually written by Barbara Bush. It's more of a book about things she taught or said to people that inspired them or stuck with them.
I enjoyed this book a lot. I think Barbara Bush was a wonderful down-to-earth lady, and I wish I could have been part of her circle of friends. She wasn't perfect (and was even a little harsh at times), but she was so real and wanted to do and be good. She succeeded.
I also love her love story with George.
I gave this four stars on Goodreads.
Clean. I don't even remember any swear words, but if there were, they would have been mild and infrequent.
