Why I have this book: After waiting forever for it to show up on the ebook library, I finally broke down and bought it. I had some Amazon gift cards from Mother's Day (YAY!!!), so I thought, "Why not?" Plus my husband left for a couple of days, so I always like a light read when he's going to be gone overnight.
I enjoyed the book. It was cute and fun, and was the nice read I was hoping for.

Twenties Girl (Sophie Kinsella)
Why I have this book: Someone recommended it, so I borrowed it from the ebook library.
It took me a while to get deep enough in the story to really know if I liked it or not. First of all, again. Profanity. WHY??? It really frustrates me. I think there are so many good books out there, and so many good writers. It's sad that we have to be so cautious and choose to miss out on great stories because the author thinks he/she has to throw in that nasty language. (Or we can choose to read it and feel frustrated by it.)
As far as the story goes, I thought it was just cute at first, but by the end, I found it quite touching. I have a soft spot for the elderly, and knowing there is so much more to them than what we see on the outside. This book brings that to life in a funny and sweet way.
I probably won't read any more of her books, just because the profanity really bugs me. I loved what she did with this one, but I'll probably pass on the rest.
This book has quite a bit of profanity (again, that British way of throwing it in like it's just a casual word) and some light talk about sexual relations between single people.
