Wonderland Creek (Lynn Austin)

Why I have this book: I'm a fan of Lynn Austin, and I've had this book on my Kindle for a long time.

I really enjoyed this book a lot. There was romance (but I wouldn't call it a romance book), humor, mystery, education/history, all in a Christian foundation. It kept me entertained. In fact, I was probably too entertained, since I chose to read it instead of doing my schoolwork today. It was a great day for an escape from the snow and the long to-do list, and this book provided it nicely.

The Total Money Makeover (Dave Ramsey)

Why I have this book: I've had it for a long while, and read some of it before, but had to read it again as part of a college class assignment.

As far as a money management book goes, it can't be beat. It's also entertaining and motivating, so it was a good one to read for the assignment. We gave it to each of our adult kids one year, because it really does have sound financial principles.
