Why I have this book: I borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited because I saw it recommended often.
Meh. I gave it three stars. To be fair, I had covid while I was trying to read it, but it just didn't grab my attention as much as I expected. There definitely was a twist that made my jaw drop, but once that twist was revealed, the rest was just okay.
There was some swearing, pretty sure including the F-word. Mildly descriptive sexual encounter occurred. The plot deals with murder. There's some other violence, as well... fighting, physical attacks, etc.
