Why I have this book: I like this author, so I bought it with a gift card my daughter and son-in-law gave me. Thanks, kids!
If I had the option, I probably would have gone with 3.5 stars on Goodreads, but since we can't do decimals, I gave it 4 stars. It kept my interest more than just "I liked it," but it wasn't quite to "I liked it a lot." Haha... those pesky star rating systems.
I don't remember any swearing, although there may have been simply because parts of the story are set in a women's prison. Maybe one of the inmates swore in some of the dialogue. Other than that, I don't remember anything that would keep me from declaring this book "clean."
