Why I have this book: Because I like the author.
I really liked this book. It has a different feel to it than her Cobble Court Quilt books... more serious and heavy, but not so heavy as to be depressing. It just felt more introspective and deep. It was easy to lose myself in it.
P.S. The male character in this book also "pulled on his nose." ;)
There was a mild swear word or two, and talk between teenage friends about losing one's viginity.
